In the inaugural podcast episode I talk to Gregor von der Wall about urban community gardening in the German capital of Berlin. Gregor is a founding member of the Max Pflanzen garden and his master’ thesis explored the problems faced by urban community gardens.

In this podcast we discuss how Gregor got involved in community gardening and what makes community gardening so different. We also explore some of the most important findings from his thesis on what problems urban community gardens face and how some of the garden tackle these problems. Lastly, we discuss how you can become involved in urban community gardening and an urban gardening transition.
